The tool is adapted for Swedish regulations and the Swedish Waste Ordinance (2020:614), with Avfall Sverige report 2024:09 as methodological support. Within the tool's documented scope, the automatic calculations for the calculable properties within HP4–HP14 follow Annex III to Directive 2008/98/EC, as replaced by Commission Regulation (EU) No 1357/2014 and amended for HP14 by Council Regulation (EU) 2017/997, and the POP screening follows Regulation (EU) 2019/1021. The remaining HP properties (HP1–HP3, HP9, HP12 and HP15) and the overall classification require consultant judgement and are completed separately. Read more about method and scope
